If you want to know what Modecenter is all about, you can’t just listen to their music. You have to turn off your mind and give in to the raw musical energy of sometimes minimalistic, sometimes megalomaniac noisy post-punk that doesn’t want to be held back by any set beliefs or ideologies. Instead of a comfortable place in the line at your local wholefoods store you get a punch to the face for looking away for too long. Since starting out two years ago they released a demo tape and amassed an underground following of highly intelligent cultists that unfortunately can’t be satisfied properly in times of a global pandemic. Fear not though, because instead of waiting around for the global market to recuperate they decided to record their first full-length record in cooperation with A-Lo Records/Numavi Records, which will be unleashed this spring. If you are able and willing, Modecenter can give you your dose of highly effective European crisis-rock.
